E-Scooter Safety Pledge

Hey Caloundra – PLEDGE YOUR SUPPORT

I am calling on you because, as a community, we have had enough of watching children under the age of 16 riding e-scooters and e-bikes.

The current legislation clearly states that any child under 16 cannot ride or travel on an e-scooter unless supervised by an adult, yet we know this is happening. Our Parliamentary enquiry is going on right now, but we CAN act now.

As parents and guardians are best placed to say NO.

We must come together as a community and say we will not allow our children under 16 to ride e-scooters or e-bikes — it is just not safe.

Let Caloundra lead the way and show that we will no longer put our kids at risk.

This message is especially important as we head into Christmas, when many parents are considering e-scooters and e-bikes as gifts for their children under 16.

Sign your support today, get our children back on push bikes and scooters, until they’re old enough to handle a motorised device.

Take the pledge today.
