Caloundra- It’s Time to have YOUR say…

It’s an exciting time for Caloundra, with Deputy Premier Jarrod Bleijie announcing the launch of the Bribie Island Breakthrough Review. The two independent reviewers are coastal engineering experts RPS and International Coastal Management (ICM), have now been appointed to lead the process.

This review marks a critical step forward for Caloundra. RPS and ICM will bring their extensive experience and knowledge in coastal engineering to provide the Government with immediate solutions to mitigate the ongoing erosion, while also developing long-term solutions to address the complex and evolving challenges of the Bribie Island breakthrough and its effects on our local community.

As a community, we’ve fought hard to highlight the concerning impact we’ve witnessed. Now, it’s time for your voice to be heard!
